The relationship between visuals, sounds, and words fascinates me. Waldo Salt said that screenwriting is the closest written form to poetry, and I agree. One of my favorite aspects of reading is visualizing the descriptions and characters in my head. I am a sucker for captivating imagery. I either write about things that interest or terrify me. Love, gender, space, time, sex, and technology are some of those things. I aim to blur the line between order and disorder in my writing. My life is essentially a balancing act of evening out the disorder with deliberate acts of order. My sense of humor stems from Strangers with Candy, the drag queens who mothered me, Lily Tomlin, Tiffany Pollard, Ab-Fab, and various family members. I am not nearly as funny as any of them! My writing is all about contradictions. All my muses are women. The most wonderful feeling is encountering a beautiful woman and knowing she could inspire a poem~
